NCO Group Inc., a business process outsourcing (BPO) enterprise established in Pennsylvania, USA, built its first call center in the Philippines which has 150 seats, in Quezon City, Philippines. Presently, a new call center at the Clark Freeport is the recent addition to its worldwide network of around 140 call centers. The facility at Clark is believed to make 15,000 new jobs. A first batch of 5,000 workers will be recruited and when a second building at Clark becomes usable for call center operations, additional workers of up to 10,000 will be recruited. The NCO Clark Philippines Inc. celebrated the opening of the facility at Clark last April 11 where President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo directed to act of launching because NCO promised to this investing of money during her journey to New York last year. The expansion of NCO's Philippine operations with a new call center at the Clark Freeport is portion of the serious attempts of the government to boost Clark Freeport as a location for BPO and manufacturing businesses. We can help the Philippines government by enticing a greater number of inventors to the Philippines, particularly to the Clark Freeport zone. Via Inquirer.net |
