Call Center industry bumping all over the world and one of those countries is the Philippines. Going back in the history of Call Centers, In 2003, the Asian Call Center Review reported the Philippines as the 1st rank in the offshore call center industry for the Asian region, surpassing India at the second spot, and in 2005, the Philippines ranked Top 10 worldwide for BPO destinations, according to Neo IT's Mapping Offshore Markets Update.

Based from the emerging success in the history of Call Center in the Philippines, effects are successfully being deserved by the country. Telstra choose to move the operations of contact center or call center industry in the Philippines due to the fact that Filipino agents could be able to give the foreign customers high quality services just like India.

This project proven that Philippines can now competes in different counties with regards to business jobs despite of some problems that the country is continuously surpassing nowadays. [via]
