The Offshore and Onshore Expansion of APAC

APAC focused on their clients' demand that is why they are expanding their Customer Services like the contact centres in United States and in other countries. Here in the Philippines, APAC has opened a new site located at Tacloban City. The 35,000 square foot resource can accommodate more or less 1,000 support staff and contact center agents. Based from the reports of Business World Online, APAC services will provide fiber optic connections, a first-class education system that will produce 5,000 to 8,000 graduates each year, and enticement from the local government. To give an answer to clients' requirements for cost efficient spot to complement existing domestic outcome, APAC had opened the first Philippines contact center in greater Manila and at present, they have about 4,800 agents and workforce. In fact, they will be opening sites in the Visayas and Mindanao region. Because of the programs offered by APAC in the Philippines, their clients became successful. Most of their existing clientele grasp the customer approval scores which resulted to 20% increase. By increasing customer importance and/or expenditure, they have experienced 8-22% increase on their product.

Doug Almond, the Vice President for International Operations of APAC, said that they have experienced significant expansion in a number of years in the Philippines, and they feel happy to deal with excellent team of professionals and local group.
  
APAC also plans for expansion locally. According to the report of Arizona Daily Star, the 27,000-square-foot office of the company will be adding 450 jobs in Tucson contact center with its existing 750 agents. By April 1, calls will be accepted by new employees. Due to economic downturn, there is no deficiency of applicants in the teleservices firm. In effect, lawyer and HR directors came to apply for jobs with a starting rate of $9.50/hour. [via]
