The CCAP was established in October 2001 by seven industry pioneers. At the moment, it has 53 members. The BPO industry is now spreading all over the country. In this era, small and medium sized enterprises are merging with BPO. According to Jojo Uligan, Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) executive director, the last two years made the merging of 3-4 industry members. The CCAP expects a lower revenue growth in the coming year. An estimate of 15 percent to 20 percent next to the current year’s 23 percent growth to $6.15 billion.On the contrary, this year’s revenue growth is expected to result in 350,000 new jobs, a statement of CCAP director Rainerio M. Borja. CCAP anticipates r $7.38 billion in revenues and a projected 70,000 new workers in the subsequent year.
