Sutherland Global Services, a business process outsourcing company based in New York, aims to double its workforce in the Philippines by hiring over 5,000 agents within the year to add strength to its present workforce of 5,500.
Fifteen percent of Sutherland's overall business is in the Philippines and to help plans to start new facilities in the cities of Davao, Tarlac and Iloilo, the company needs to hire 5,000 fresh agents from different cities. At an average of $3,500 per seat, Sutherland needs an investment of $17.5 million to fulfill these plans. |
