TeleTech Holdings, Inc., a call center giant maintains its BPO Company in the country. Two new sites will be opened in the Makati Central Business District at the EcoPlaza building in the Don Chino Roces Extension and at the GT International Tower along Ayala Avenue. The consolidation of Teletech’s Global Business Services (GBS) is the reason for this expansion. The BPO in EcoPlaza Building will have 300 seats of specialized back office tasks and joint services that will support the global TeleTech operations with finance and accounting, payroll processing, human resource outsourcing, quality assurance, and workforce organization. TeleTech employs thousands, and manages millions of customer interactions each year because it was known as the largest BPO solutions provider in the country. |

Convergys Corporation is the largest private employer in the Philippines. They had announced that there will be a new facility in Cebu City. Convergys' new contact center will be situated in the Asiatown IT Park in Baguio City. The company will operate 15 facilities throughout the country, eight in Metro Manila, four in Cebu City, and one each in Bacolod City, Santa Rosa, Laguna, and Baguio City. |

Cyber City Teleservices was founded in 1999 and was known as the first private call center located in outer area of Metro Manila. It started with 3500 employees in Clark, Davao, Manila, Columbia, London, and New Jersey USA. It will soon operate in Panama. The no poaching policy of Cyber City Teleservices was commended by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo during the latest meeting of Cabinet members happened at the Atrium section of Cyber City. Jonathan Rosenberg (Chairman and CEO of Cyber City), joined by George Sorio (Senior Executive VP), Don Felbaum (President of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Phils.), and Sec. Ray Anthony Roxas-Chua III (Chairman of the Commission on Information and Communications Technology) welcomed President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo during the event. |
