Teletech's Latest BPO Customer Center

With the opening of Teletech Customer care Management Philippines Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) in San Fernando, Pampanga, employment chances will soon be accessible to some 2, 000 residents of Pampanga and other provinces in Region III.

President Arroyo inducted Teletech's latest customer management center in the country at the SM City in San Fernando. Industry Secretary Peter Favila, Cabinet Officer for Region III Ceretary Edgardo Pamintuan, Teletech General Manager and Senior Vice president Maulik Parekh and Pampanga local official were also present in the ribbon-cutting ceremony of Teletech's BPO Center.

 
ePLDT Ventus Takes Over PAL's Call Center Operations

ePLDT Ventus, a subsidiary of Philippines Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT), is now taking over the PAL's (Philippine Airlines) call center operations.

The partnership will be effective on June 1, 2010 after the two companies signed formally the outsourcing agreement.

 
Aegis People Support

Aegis People Support, a BPO company owned by Indian nationals, plans to have an expansion with good pool of talent and business-friendly infrastructure in Cebu. The company has 38 branches in different countries worldwide with 2 offices in the Philippines, one in Manila and the other in Cebu.  During the unveiling of the street sign of India Street in the Asiatown I.T. Park yesterday, the representatives of Aegis People Support said that they are very glad that they are in the Philippines particularly in Cebu.

 
Pilipinas Teleserv, Shaw Blvd

Pilipinas Teleserv Inc. was known as a provider of modern teleservices solutions and call center-based services. Its 3rd 230-seat facility located in Shaw Blvd., Mandaluyong City was opened last September. According to Raffy S. David, Director of Teleservs marketing and quality assurance, the company will provide around 900 new jobs by year-end. The new facility will meet the growing demand for their services by domestic clients.

It will supervise citizens and governments services, local telecommunications customer services, and food delivery services of fast food chains and restaurants. Teleserv is recognized as the supplier of NSO's birth certificate delivery, marriage, death and certificate of no marriage; DFA’s express passport delivery, PEOA's Balik Manggagawa overseas exit clearance (OEC) delivery, and Maritime Industry Authoritys seamans book pick and delivery renewal services. And they started their job interview process.
