Tata Group brings call center here in the Philippines

Tata Group of India, a giant corporation, is now preparing for the operation of 250-300 seats call center in RP. Jonathan de Luzuriaga, executive director for industry affairs for the Business Processing Association of the Philippines, said that the Indian group was currently accomplishing a due-diligence research in the country. They’ve been inadequately devastated by the scarcity of talent in India, so they perform site-hunting in the Philippines as a new location. Mindanao will be the first location, Visayas will be the second, and Luzon will be the third. The group was looking at areas in the Visayas and Mindanao to search for Tata’s facilities.

 
Increasing Unsafe Sex Of Call Center Agents

Based from a study, nowadays risky sex is slightly higher among call center workers compared to those who work in different industries. The University of the Philippines (UP) Population Institute conducted the study. According to them, risky sex is increasing because of the different lifestyle and reproductive health concerns of call center and non-call center workers in Metro Manila and Metro Cebu. Call center employees engaged in pre-marital sex is now 75% while non-call center workers at 66.6%.
