A representative from Clark Development Corp. (CDC) stated that there will be 3,008 job vacancies in different firms inside the Freeport. ICT/BPO related jobs got the 1st rank. Actually, this sector needs to be filled-up with personnel in the last quarter of the year. About 2, 000 workers are urgently needed  at present. Urgent hiring is required because the Texas Instruments Clark needs of 300 personnel before yearend. Also, the following companies have several job openings: Nanox Philippines Inc., Phoenix Semiconductor Philippines Corp., Poongsan Microtec Philippines Corp. and SMK Electronics (Philippines) Corp. According to CDC president Felipe Antonio B. Remollo, the number of job vacancies submitted to CDC is 2,222. The 75 percent of it should fill-up the number of personnel needed by ICT/BPO firms in Clark. ICT/BPO-related jobs are: web designers and developers, programmers, technical support operators, Linux and Windows Systems administrators, English online teachers, and call center agents. Remollo added that Cyber City Teleservices Inc. and Sutherland Global Services also have job posts of 500, Nozomi Fortune Services will hire 400 workers, and Ivonline Contents Center needs 200 new workers for the firm. Besides, the following companies posted job hiring: Advanpoint (90), Clark on Line It Hub (50), Mepcon Philippines Inc (170), Services Resources Inc (55), GFL System Clark Inc. (105), Global Standard English Learning Center (75). Far second, an industrial electronics or the semiconductor sector will need 340 or 10.2 percent workers before the end of the year.
