Course for call center agents and Korean language - TESDA |

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is supportive when it comes to call center industry in the Philipppines. In her administration, Training for Work Scholarship Project has been made. Free training on Finishing Course on Call Center Agents, and Korean Language Course has been headed by Regional Director Juan M. Sabulao. The range of time is equivalent to 100 and 80 hours. Applicants for the Finishing Course for Call Center Agents must: - at least 18 years of age
- at least two year college education and computer literate.
Should get a score of 55-60 in Pro-Speak 7 administered by TESDA regional and provincial offices (Pro-Speak 7 is a seven minute conversation with computer using a telephone that assesses the applicant's proficiency in spoken English.) submit a photocopy of his or her birth certificate from National Statistics Office, collge diploma, training certificate from TESDA-registered programs, National Certificate or Certificate of Competency issued by TESDA, and lastly, preferably with POEA registered card. According Elizabeth C. Canales, TESDA-8 Information Officer, those applicants for Korean Language Course must plan to work in Korea and undergo an on-the job training in any Korean Company in the Philippines.
