To avenue create an opportunity that will share best practices and case studies from other countries as well as the Philippines, International Contact Center Conference & Expo, organized by the Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) turns globally by flying in from different continents to share their insights and skills from a global perception.

With the running themes of globalization and factors that continue to make a call center competitive, this International Contact Center Conference & Expo will be held on Sept. 28-29 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

A report on a state of the industry will be given by Benedict Hernandez, CCAP president, while the global technology trends will be discussed by Anthony Bartolo, vice president for integrated office and contact center communications of Avaya.

Moreover, there are many other speakers who are foreign delegates from North America, Europe, the Asia-Pacific and even Africa who will also share expertise about this year's theme.

The event will highlight some of the following:

  • Global CEO Forum- will discuss issues in the global outsourcing market;
  • Analyst Panel Discussion- will share international trends; and
  • SME Panel Discussion- will tackle how smaller players can build homegrown global BPO brands.

Operations, for operations heads, call center managers, site directors, workforce managers, QA managers, and supervisors; People Management, for HR directors, recruitment managers, and training officers; Solutions, for CIOs, IT managers, network managers, systems administrators, and data center managers; and Career Development, for front-line supervisors and team leaders are the other attacks thaw will be discussed.

The two-day event will also offer a job fair, participated by the CCAP member call centers, looking for new hires that will acknowledge and administer job applications and carry out on-the-spot interviews.

A free workshops and career orientation seminars for jobseekers will also be conducted by the call centers and training companies.

As its sixth conference and expo to be organized by CCAP, this year's event guarantees to be better and more stimulating as it drags more delegates from all over the world.

The event is also expected to continually position the country not only as the most chosen and the major contact center destination but as well as a world-class business-leisure destination. [via philstar.com]
