Four individuals with great contributions to BPO industry were awarded by Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) last July 15-16, 2009 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City during the CCAP Annual Call Center Conference & Expo 2009 with the theme "Navigating Through the Global Crisis." It was led by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

Among the awardees are Senator Mar Roxas, and former Senator Ramon Magsaysay Jr. They are cited for their early support for the call center industry. Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) director-general Lilia de Lima is recognized for making it easier for call center operators to endow and establish in the Philippines. CCAP is known as the country's official trade group for subcontract and in-house contact centers which represents 55 companies nationwide. President Arroyo’s administration had supported the call center business by means of the development of the country’s telecommunications network, creation of the Cabinet-level Commission on ICT for ICT policy formulation and implementation, development of human capital to provide the world-class workers we needed for our industry to grow, and expansion of the Cyber Corridor to span across the entire Philippines. The event attracts approximately 6,000 executives, managers, supervisors, and agents of outsource and in-house contact centers.

The following are the events that happened:
