CCAP Expo Credits BPO

On its 5th route, the CCAP Annual Call Center Conference & Expo 2009 was held at SMX Convention Center in Pasay City last July 15-16, 2009. The organization led by Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo said that they will grant four individuals who have shown important task in the expansion of Philippine call center industry. The topic of the discussion was "Navigating through the Global Crisis".

The conference dealt with convention, exhibit, jobs fair (with more panel discussions with CEOs, analysts, economists, support sectors, and call center agents), 32 recent convention topics on operations, HR, technology, and career development, and Call Center 101 Plus which is introduced as a new conference track for call center startups.

Because of the untimely support of Senator Mar Roxas and former Senator Ramon Magsaysay Jr., they were mentioned as honorees. Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) director-general Lilia de Lima was also known or helping the call center operators to empower and situate in the Philippines. CCAP is the authorized business group in the Philippines to outsource and conduct in-house call centers which embodies 55 companies nationwide. President Arroyo’s full support to the call center industry resulted to the growth of the country's telecommunications network, the establishment of Cabinet-level Commission on ICT for ICT policy formulation and completion, the development of human capital to provide the exceptional workers we need for our industry to nurture, and the growth of the Cyber Corridor to establish a link in the whole country.  The flagship event of the contact center industry was the CCAP conference.
