WINTHROP, Maine (AP) is a Tennessee company which offers messaging services to doctors. Winthrop is expanding and they are starting to conduct a study to be able to determine the largest of its seven contact centers nationwide. Gov. John Baldacci together with state, local, and industry leaders joined in the declaration of outsourcing business. Tuesday by NotifyMD of Franklin, Tenn. plans to hire 200 employees at the site over the next two years. NotifyMD, a center in Farmington which was opened two years ago, is moving into 21,000 square feet of leased space at the former Carleton Mills. The messaging services provided by NotifyMD include after-hours messaging and computer-based reminders to patients. It has a clientele of about 18,000 physicians in more than 40 states. |
