A free call center training program brought by ExcelAsia has ascended this year by accepting more trainees each month. ExcelAsia accepted 1,500 call center trainees every month from 400 to 500 students in year 2005. The company stated that they had 34 trainers who reside in the cities of Alabang, Bacolod, Cebu, and Makati.

Jamie Wilson, Senior Training Manager of ExcelAsia, said that in a 12.5-day training cycle trainers deal with 20 to 25 students. Everyone has a mission to boost the company's English Only guidelines and to develop students' communication skills. Wilson said that professionalism is significant, most of their students have never held a regular job, so they teach them how to be professionals at all times. ExcelAsia prolonged the tough joint venture with President Arroyo's Training for Work Scholarship Program. This program enables the company to assist a call center training program at no cost. A recruitment and training site in Eastwood City Cyberpark in Libis, Quezon City was opened by ExcelAsia early this year. [via]
